Past Scholar

Nathaniel Tang, Principal Analyst, Economic Regulation Division

Being someone who is always interested in understanding the economic mechanisms of industrial markets, as well as policy formation, I found that being a scholar with EMA was the perfect match for me.

Working with teammates from diverse disciplines allowed me to gain novel perspectives and expand my understanding of a broader range of concepts. At EMA, my role is focused on advancing improvements to the dynamic energy market and its underlying market structures.

This has sparked my intellectual curiosity, driving me to seek out new ways to harness new and existing energy sources in a more sustainable and efficient manner. EMA fully supports these interests by providing regular engagements with industry players, overseas study trips, as well as developmental courses.
